CHILDREN
First and foremost, we insist that children be treated humanely. Where the Bible encourages the violent abuse of children, Luciferions insist on gentle and compassionate nurturing. Violence begets violence, criticism results in low self-esteem, and neglect leads to desolation. Compassionate care of children is the paramount task for a civilised society.

It is no good agreeing that violence begets violence while condoning so-called parential "discipline" of children. Discipline is a sanitized word for hitting them. Hitting children is the ultimate act of cowardice. Violent child abuse is considered natural in our society because of cultural conditioning. But it is not natural, it is an abomination.

This topic will be the biggest stumbling block in the way of progress for Luciferions. Parents, contemptuous of paedophiles who refer to sexual abuse as "education", are well pleased when violent abuse is referred to as "discipline". The word "discipline" excuses their barbaric behaviour.

Violence against children is ingrained in our culture. Parents, particularly Christian parents, will resort to every excuse in the book to retain their alleged right to violently abuse their children. Euphemisms like "discipline" and "control" will be tossed around like confetti. And yet, anyone with a tiny shred of compassion can see that for an adult to strike a defenceless infant is the vilest and grossest form of bullying and cowardice there is.

ANIMALS
The Bible tells us that we have dominion over animals, that they exist to be eaten or caged and put to work for us. Luciferions want animals to be treated humanely. We don't insist on vegetarianism but we are appalled at the brutal methods used to raise and slaughter animals for food. In some Asian countries, cats and dogs are dunked in boiling water, then skinned alive, and left trembling, to die of shock.

As terrible as that is, perhaps it's preferable to sheep and cows being packed into cattle trucks like sardines, driven hundreds of miles under the scorching sun, before being herded into an abattoir to have their throats slit.

Luciferions are vehemently opposed to so-called "sports" that require animals to suffer for the entertainment of humans. In Australia this includes rodeo shows and horse racing.

Most cruelty, whether to children or to animals, is routinely performed because we can't be bothered to engage our brains and look for better ways of doing things. It's so much easier to just go with the flow and do what everyone else does rather than think about these issues. But as with slave trading, attitudes can change, given time and pressure.

WAR
The world wastes billions of dollars every year on so-called "defence". Before long, these weapons of "defence" will be used, particularly womads (weapons of mass destruction), and that will be the end of that. Yet the stupid thing is – we are already at war. We have been under seige for hundreds of years. The enemy slaughters thousands of people every month. And yet we spend only a pittance resisting the enemy, probably less than 1% the money spent defending against the perceived enemy.

The enemy I speak of is called cancer. Or it may be any one of dozens of diseases that plague mankind. We have enough weapons of "defence" to destroy the world ten times over. Isn't that enough? The money must be diverted and used to conquer cancer, and AIDS, and MS, and muscular dystrophy, and Parkinson's, and cystic fibrosis, and Alzheimers, and malaria, and all the other dreadful things that afflict so many of our fellow travellers on this planet.

Never mind the enemy who might, possibly one day, maybe attack. We must go to war against the enemy which is already slaughtering us in droves. 100% effort, all-out war! And share the technology with nations who presently we view with suspicion, help them cure their sick and dying. And lo and behold, in a very short space of time, a potential enemy becomes a friend.

TERRORISM
Which is the worse, murdering 3,000 people because of a warped belief in a perverted doctrine, or murdering 3 million people for profit? Luciferions totally believe in dealing hashly with terrorists, but we need to be clear just who they are. However awful the final moments of the people who died in the World Trade Centre, not one of them died the long, drawn-out death of a lung cancer victim. Every year, millions of young people are encouraged by tobacco companies to take up smoking. Every year, millions of earlier victims die of heart disease or lung cancer. All in the name of profit. The financial and emotional cost to the world is immeasurable.

Tobacco is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. It should be recognised as such.

ZioNaziism: America donates $4 billion a year to the Israeli war effort and then draws up a "road map towards peace". Instead of a road map, how about a set of instructions? "Dear Mr Sharon, get the fuck out of Palestine!" Not one shred of evidence exists to support Jewish claims that they once populated Israel. Not one broken tea pot or shard of pottery has ever been found to indicate they even reached the borders. Not one fragment of mosaic has ever been unearthed from the so-called Temple of Solomon.

All they've got are fabricated stories from the ultimate book of lies – the Bible – which claim that Jews once occupied Israel. And for this preposterous yarn, all of us must die?

Why are we so willing to die for tobacco barons and ZioNazis?

THE PLANET
Half the world's rain forests have been destroyed since 1950. Are we going to stand by doing nothing while the other half is felled or burned? The main cause of environmental damage is human greed. We are never satisfied. The way the system works is to ensure that we never are satisfied. Whatever we buy will be obsolete within two years. We are told that progress is "customer driven". Like, customers demand more and more quality, more labour-saving devices, faster, slimmer, brighter, quieter, more luxurious devices.

No we don't. Industry demands that we have these toys and that we are never content with what we already have. Take digital television. The public will be forced into digital television which will render millions of perfectly good television sets obsolete. And yet, very, very few people give a stuff one way or another about digital TV. If we're that concerned about picture quality, how come cheap VCR tapes outsell expensive ones, twenty to one?

Same with sound, cheap, bottom of the range audio tapes have always outsold chrome tapes hundreds to one, and yet we're told that the public "demands" sharper and clearer sound. Recordable CDs the same, so long as it's a trusted brand, very few people will pay double the price for 5% extra quality.

The moment we buy a new car, another model with a different shaped radiator grill supercedes it, and therefore we are dissatisfied with the one we drive lest we should be thought of as the sort of person who drives an old model car.

Soon, one billion Chinese will be abandoning their bicycles and demanding cars. It's already started. Car sales double every year in China. Imagine a country with four times the population of the USA, following America's example and not giving a damn about the environment.

One hundred years from now, three-quarters of the Earth will be under water. Global warming is melting the ice caps, expanding the seas, and no one gives a damn. We need to reduce factory filth and fossil fuel pollution by 60% just to slow the trend. Instead, we are doing the opposite.

There needs to be some serious and urgent thinking about the environment, not just by greenies, but by all of us.

SEX
Religious bigots like George Pell (Catholic Archbishop of Sydney) are fond of chanting that tired old mantra, "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve". Such bland homilies make pedophile priests feel righteous and holy. The truth is that Pell's disgusting and perverted "god" made no one and nothing. But nature produces men, women and intersex people – people with the genitals both of men AND of women.

Intersex people blow Genesis out of the water, because they are neither Adam nor Eve. And while we're on the subject of bible absurdities, Genesis tells us that "god" made Eve from Adam's rib. In fact the reverse happens, men evolve from women. During the first few weeks in the womb we are all female. That's why men have nipples. Then, some weeks after conception, approximately half of us become male. Medical fact.

Did Adam have nipples? If so, why? Did Adam and Eve have belly-buttons? If so, why? :)

The Bible claims that homosexuality, masturbation, sex before marriage, and other sexual acts, are sins against "god". But then, according to the Bible, so is working on the sabbath, but I've yet to meet a Christian who doesn't mow his lawn or wash his car on a Saturday. And I've yet to meet a Christian prepared to stone a fellow Christian to death for breaking this, the most fundamental of god's laws.

Christians are quick to condem people who break those of god's laws, the breaking of which personally offends them, but slow to condemn people who break those of god's laws that they themselves break.

Luciferions dismiss sexual "sin". As far as we're concerned, sex is fun, sex is natural, sex exists to be enjoyed. And provided the act is entered into with consideration and concern for the other partner or partners, it is perfectly OK to be attracted to the opposite sex, the same sex, or both.

DRUGS
To take a drug is to take a risk. But in safe, measured and recommended doses, most drugs are either harmless, or the harm they inflict is minimal. Alcohol and toabacco are two of the more dangerous drugs because they are so addictive. That being so, you have to wonder why those two drugs are legal while other, less dangerous drugs, are illegal.

One answer is that alcohol wasn't recognised as a dangerous drug until the prohibition era, less than 100 years ago. And tobacco was in the clear until about 1960. But profit is another reason, there's no profit in people growing their own marijuana, and there are no taxes to be had.

As for harder drugs, to be fair to governments, we suspect that there is a genuine concern for the health of the population, but no purpose is served by making certain drugs illegal. In fact, great harm is done by this process. People who want the drugs are going to take them whether they're legal or not. The only thing legislation can affect is the price. And the price affects the crime rate.

Luciferions feel that education of young people is the only possible deterrent. This goes for tobacco and alcohol too. Explain the harm, but don't say "don't", just say, "be sensible". In our opinion, everyone has the right to enjoy life in any way they please, provided their enjoyment doesn't detract from the enjoyment of other people. The government doesn't legislate against skiing, mountain climbing, rock fishing, or hundreds of other dangerous pursuits, so why does it legislate against people popping pills or shooting up?

Each of us is responsible go our own life. If we choose to put our lives at risk, then that is our business, not the government's. Besides which, if all drugs were legalised, and sold through pharmacies, chances are there would not be a huge increase in drug related deaths. Due to the purity of the drugs and the known dosage, it's possible that drug deaths would decrease.

But if they didn't, no major drama. Luciferions have an unorthodox slant on life, we feel that life is so short and so fleeting, it makes little difference whether we choose to die young or die old. We're on this planet for a mere blip in time, the only thing that matters (and then only to the individual) is to make the most of it however we see fit.

And if someone chooses to lead a short adventurous life rather than a long and mundane life, that is no concern of the government's.

CRIME and PUNISHMENT
The amount of crime in a country like Australia is directly related to the amount of child abuse and neglect. Loved, contented children rarely turn to crime. Every violent criminal serving time in Long Bay prison was abused and/or neglected as a child, no exception.

But while that's a reason for criminal behaviour, it's no excuse. Criminals must pay for their crimes, but the punishment must fit the crime. To send a youth to prison for a minor crime – probably a drug related crime – knowing that the chances are he's going to be bashed and raped, is a far worse crime than anything the youth has committed, or is likely to commit. Yet politicians and judges are well happy with such injustice and cruelty.

To be deprived of ones liberty is punishment enough. Cell beatings, verbal abuse and personal denegration, sometimes committed by other inmates, but often committed by prison warders, is an admission of total failure of the prison system.

DEATH
We have no idea what happens to us when we die, neither does anyone else. People who claim to know are either deceitful or desperate, or both. There is a very strong probability that when we die, we die. But it's an arrogant person who insists that this must be the case and who allows no room for any other possibility. The truth is, we don't know. And we probably never will know. Luciferions are content to leave it as a mystery.
