| In June my family and I embarked on a trip to North Carolina. The destination being the Biltmore Estate. On the way down to NC we stopped and camped at Claytor Lake State Park in Virginia. It was there that went swimming in a cool lake with a beach. On our second day we stopped at the Andrew Johnson NHS in Tennessee, and drove through the Great Smoky Mountains. My mom, once again, was collecting stamps and said that we have to go back and spend more time in the Smokies because she didn't get a chance to get the stamp at Cades Cove . The third day was filled with touring the Biltmore Estate, owned by George Vanderbilt. My dad is very interested in the Vanderbilt houses. He's hoping to tour some of their other houses some day. |
