We took my Grandma to see her father's clock at the Smithsonian Museum of American History. She was very happy to see it. Years ago my Mom went to the same museum with her parents and had ice cream in the little ice cream parlor on the first floor. Grandma treated us all to an ice cream treat in the very same parlor! We stayed in a hotel with adjoining rooms. It was very cool!
On the last day of our trip we stopped at the Musuem of Natural History. I told Grandma I would buy the Hope Diamond for her when I grow up. |
