Description: He’s a bit over 3 feet tall with mostly white hair with black splotches. If this was modern times someone would diagnose him with ADD. He has black eyes and pale skin.

He was born in a human village to the far east of Cormyr. His mother was human but his biological father was a half gnome. His mothers husband was furious with him by the time he was two because it was becoming very obvious that he wasn’t his child. Landseer was beaten and kicked around. He wasn’t big enough to play with the boys his age and his dad decided he wasn’t worth the time it would take to teach him anything. By the time he was 15 (barely a full grown child by gnome standards) he left on his own and did miserably. He didn’t know how to find food, he didn’t know how to stay away from bears by the time he found the gnomish temple two weeks later he was ready to take refuge anywhere; so when they thought he was just an odd looking gnome he didn’t correct them. He spent five years with them learning their ways and about their god Ironhand but by then they were realizing he didn’t fit in there either. By the time he was 24 he left there, this time with provisions, a little money, and a map. He thought he could make some money selling puzzles but with in 3 months he’d been beaten as many times and robbed double as many times.

Around the time he turned 25 he first met Torgal. Landseer finally thought he’d found a safe bush to lie in and be safe when this giant foot from Monty Python comes down trying to step on him! He cried out and Torgal didn’t step on him; instead he picked Landseer up and declared (very loudly) that little children should not be out this far alone and he would take him home. Torgal decided to walk west because the little people lived to the west. Over the next several months Landseer was able to explain that he was not in fact a child, nor was he really a gnome. It didn’t take them long to form a kinship. Torgal didn’t ever beat up Landseer and he never called him stupid, in fact he started calling Landseer his ‘bestest friend’ and that meant the world to Landseer. It didn’t take them long to get a harness attached to Torgal because that way Torgal could run without worrying about losing Landseer. They kept walking west just because that was the way they had started walking and along the way they took a few commissions, investigate this place, take care of these kobolds, ect. It wasn’t much but it kept food in their stomachs. Now they are traveling with a band of goodly adventures and can’t wait to see what happens next.
