Description: Kat isn’t very tall, she stands at 5’5. She has long deep purple hair down to her waist, which she wears in ringlets. She has pale skin with a slight purplish pink tinge to it. Her eyes are a deep green. Since her transformation she now has pointed ears and she now keeps her nails long, having no way to trim them down.
Past: Kat grew up in a small town in The Kings Forest of Cormyr. Her entire family were small time thieves and she was no different. The younger ones were to comb the town and watch for things that fell off of carts. That changed when she stole some money dropped purposefully by Miss Waters. Miss Waters promptly bought her from her abusive father. On the way Kat expressed an interest in simple coin tricks so Miss Waters taught her one. Kat spent the next three years perfecting it among other simple acts of sleight of hand. Once brought to Arabel Kat was befriended by Joey, Ymandra, and Emmalina. She also decided to learn how to steal for real. She spent the next year or two working on her thieving skills. Eventually she was found and instructed further by Aros an assassin who often masqueraded as a bard. He taught her how to fight and how to be a real thief. She also made a point of studying under Ymandra’s paladin tutor Doust to learn about laws and some more fighting. Over the years in Arabel the one she bonded with the most was Emmalina. Emmy became like an older sister to Kat and they became very close. When she was 11 Kat was surrounded by a circle of light and went through the painful process where her power was awakened. However unlike the others a shuriken to the back at a crucial moment seemed to have prevented her from dying. When the Time of Troubles came Kat and the others were hidden in a temple along with a new boy named Elly. While we were there the circle of light appeared and did its work on Elly. Kat decided that since a well timed shuriken had saved her life to do the same to Elly. She succeeded and Elly survived.
History: Kat killed her first orc shortly after they left the temple at the age of 11. The party eventually set out for Shadowdale after testing out their powers for a while. It seemed to Kat as if hers was the power of negative energy. Kat also got her horse Midnight who seemed remarkable for a horse even by Cormyrian standards. On the way to Shadowdale they met a young man named Josh who joined them. Kats power summoned a powerful undead when she screwed up with it and this furthered her theory. After that she apparently turned an enemy raider instantly into an undead monster. However farther along the journey tragedy struck. Elly was killed by a group of bloodhawks and shortly after that Emmy was killed in an ambush. Josh was heart broken, as he’d just begun a relationship with Elly. And Kat was devastated over the death of Emmy. Josh used his power and it bestowed upon Midnight the ability to speak with Kat. In Shadowdale Kat sought out priest after priest until a druid agreed to reincarnate Emmy and Elly. They also found a young man named Mort that had been raised by dwarves who joined them. Once Elly and Emmy were back. The party set out for Amn. On the way they were captured by drow. This gave them a chance to speak with Miss Waters again. She revealed to Kat that her power was illusion. After they escaped from the drow they were captured again by the horde. They were taken through a portal that lead to the far east. Here they met a were-tiger named Grace who joined them. There they were compelled by the Dalai Lama to do battle against his enemy the Lich King. While they were there Midnight revealed that he was far from ordinary as he could travel far faster than any normal horse. Also he could when necessary transform his hooves to what they needed to be to travel. Eventually with some help from the horde the party defeated the Lich King. During this time Kat began developing feelings for Joey. Emmy however strongly disapproved of this and she explained to Kat why men were not good people and couldn’t be trusted. However in the battle with the Lich King Joey’s selfless use of a wish finally proved his good nature to Emmy. The party was captured again by the horde which was being manipulated by and evil psion. Luckily Mort managed to free the party and wipe out most of the horde. The party returned to Cormyr and decided to take a year off. Joey decided to go back to his family lands and tend them for a while. Miss Waters approached Kat and offered to train her and help her become stronger by becoming half-dragon. Kat agreed and began a year of training. After they returned Miss Waters was nearly killed and Elly was permanently killed on the quest bring her back. This caused Kat to rethink her views on death and she decided that she wasn’t going to kill anymore unless absolutely necessary. On their return they met Ashton. They spent six months recuperating from the ordeal. During this time Kat became friends with Ashton. The party journeyed to Arabel where Ymandra fell in battle against a shade lord and some vampires. Kat blames herself for this as Emmy asked her to save Ymandra but she failed. Emmy was devastated by the loss of Emmy and went into seclusion. As is often the case Kats mood mirrored Emmy’s and she through herself into her training, going for days on end sometimes before collapsing in exhaustion. After Emmy finished dealing with her issues the party set out for Crag Keep to find so artifacts for Miss Waters. During the search for the artifacts Ashton finally managed to endear himself to the party and Ymandra came back to help Emmy. After the keep the party to some time off and Kat developed romantic feelings for Ashton who she considers a girl in a boy body. A recent offer to work for an assassin has once again awakened her bloodlust and this disturbs her.
