PROLOGUE

The year is 2015. Much of the world's land mass has been covered by the rise of the oceans after the melting of the Antarctic Ice Cap. Common knowledge of the incident tells of a small meteorite hitting somewhere within the polar region (Though small, it's velocity created worldwide problems). This is known as the Second Impact which occured in 2001.

The public isn't allowed much information, but the large creatures known as Angels are rather noticable, and leave one only to wonder. To fight these monstrocities, an organization called NERV has been established. Using their secret weapons known as Evangelions, they plan on fighting for the future of mankind.
