CHARACTER CLASS
Any RPG has it's lot of character types. The Lorsavasus
Evangelion RPG is no exception. There are three
basic Character Classes within this game.
Student -- This
position is for the type of player who enjoys being
an 'average every-day kid'. Of course, that doesn't
necissarily mean -normal-. Basically, what we'd like
to see is your character's own unique perspective on
what it's like to be a kid who happens to be located
within the 'safest city in the world'. How would your
character take it if his/her understanding on how this
world worked was flipped entirely upside-down by the
enterance of large multi-story-sized creatures? Do not
enter this position with the hope for becoming an Evangelion
Pilot in mind. Those who enter the game as Students
will most likely remain as students.
Evangelion Pilot
-- This character type will see quite a few battles.
Though that is no excuse for a shallow character! This
sort should show off a lot of the mental pressures that
are placed upon a teenager forced to carry the burden
of mankind's safety. Evangelion Pilots will deal with
both the 'Student' and 'NERV' character types. Though
they run the highest probability in getting killed off!
NERV Staff -- There
are plenty of sub-types within this Character Class.
These range from 'Bridge Technician' to the likes of
'Captain' or 'Commander'. Depending on the position,
you will have to deal with taking orders, or perhaps
even dealing them out. Help save the world within the
comfort of your very own Geofront (or at least a collectively-shared
one, at any rate). This is quite a varied field.
Other -- The three
categories above are the normal types of characters
allowed within the game. But sometimes an applicant
can come up with an alternate form of character and/or
sub-type that we haven't yet thought of. Please convince
us why we need the character-type you're creating -
what they can do for the game, what they can add to
situations, how they'll react to other characters, etc.
As with any character application
though, try to 'sell us' your character. Give us reasons
why your character stands out among all the other applications
we receive.
