Same Sex Marriage Info
Currently same-sex marriages are not recognized anywhere in the United States. The Supreme Court in the State of Vermont is the first state in our nation to rule that not acknowledging same-sex unions is against It's State Constitution and that Vermont's legislature must put laws into effect giving same-sex unions that same legal rights as marriage between people of the opposite gender. There is a network of information out there on this subject. There are a number of political movements that are fighting to follow in Vermont's foot steps. If we're lucky, you might get to be invited to 2 wedding celebrations for Lori and Vera, the current one and one that is legally recognized some time in the future!
