Greetings and Saluations !
from Lone Hawk, existing
in the remotest parts of
Nowhere and Nowhen
Gandalf the Grey stood before the stone Doors of Durin, above which was inscribed: "Here is written in the Feanorian characters according to the mode of Beleriand:
Ennyn Durin Atan Moria:
Peo' mellon a minno."
Four times he approached the stone wall to cast spells and speak enchanting words to open the way into the mines of Moria. The stones stood still.
The black waters behind him and his companions began to stire; something dark and sinister came their way. Gandalf's long eyebrows raised ever-so-slightly as he stared at the runes above the door. He spoke the word, they escaped into a darker, more sinsiter place. [1]
Are you having trouble and need some help? Is that "dark, sinister creature" about to take you under? Well DON'T PANIC! Lone Hawk learned a bit of Elfan magic while living with the Elf-kin of Lothlorien forest. How's this trick?
How many have stood at the Doors of Dorain? How many escaped into the Mines of Moria? How many perished into the dark waters? All will forever remain a mystery.
