Embargo --- a sanitized word for food as a weapon of war.
            Who hurts from an embargo?
Does Saddam Hussein feel the pain of hunger,
does he feel the sorrow of a commoner
who cannot provide for his family?
The man orders death with a whim
                 upon any who offends him;
                 tell me,
how can an embargo hurt such a man?
Can the Iraqian people rise up
against their leader, bad as he is?
                 Dare they?

            Who hurts from an embargo?
            Continents away, others,
friends opposed to the common enemy,
                 suffer more than he.
            Economics, the world over suffer,
as much as the fear of one controlling the oil.
People who have the least influence,
in worldly matters, suffer the most.
            Does Saddam Hussein care?
Did he care of Kuwait's sovereignty?
                 of her people?
Poor Kuwait, while the rest of the world
                 practices diplomatic embargo,
                 Iraqian solders
                 practice stealing, beating, killing, ....
            Kuwaitians flee their homeland,
Why does the world gather at the borders,
                 then do nothing?
The foreign 'guest' who can not flee,
will the world starve the helpless,
                 for civilized principles and policy?
            Who hurts from an embargo?
