Cold mountain water
                                   rushes over rocks
It swirls and twirls splashes and foams
         churning currents It flows
of natural life It washes over stones at my feet
                                      sun warmed flesh
                                      and me

                 It flows
                down my
               left
              side

                                                                And beneath me

                        It washes worrisome
                        worldly thoughts away
                        from my head into the
                        dark abyss of forgetfulness.
