Well, what can I say about my best friend? *grin* We've only known each other for about three years, but it was like an instant friendship!
We're both alike in a lot of ways, but we're different in many ways as well. She tends to speak her mind when she doesn't agree with something, whereas I just sort of stay quiet and let things happen as they will. She is not afraid to say what she thinks (I should know; she's told me what she thinks of some of the things I do many times!), and while her honesty is a good quality, sometimes I wonder if she's going to get in trouble with the things she says! ;)
She's always there for me, though...even though we aren't in school anymore, I know that if I ever need to talk to her, she's just a phone call away. We don't get to talk to each other that much anymore, since our schedules are conflicting, but we send cards or notes to each other every so often...we're going to buy out Hallmark one of these days, I swear!
Her "nickname" is the Gumdrop Queen...and I don't think either one of us will forget how she got it! We were both in study hall, and I told her that I called myself the Lollipop Princess. "Well, if you're the Lollipop Princess, then I'm the Gumdrop Queen," Gretchen replied, completely sarcastic. But me, being the person I am, started calling her that when I wrote her notes, and it just stuck!
I know she doesn't like her pictures being shown very much, but I had to put on here. From left to right, it's Gretchen, my friend Tiff, and me. The picture was taken on the Spirit of Washington cruise (which was SOOOOO much fun, let me tell you!)

She will kill me if she ever finds out I've posted this, hee hee!!!!
