EVERYTHING I KNOW NOW, I
LEARNED ON CHEMO:
·
Life is full of
surprises – some good, some, well … not so good.
·
Prune juice is
really not that bad … once you get used to it!
·
The medical
profession is not for me.
·
It’s not cheesy
to have your own website.
·
It is possible to
live “comfortably” on one income.
·
The AWESOME POWER
of PRAYER.
·
Prayer is a two
way conversation – listening is so important.
·
Angels walk among
us.
·
There are signs
of God’s presence EVERY DAY – we just need to be open to seeing/experiencing them.
·
Live every day –
no, every moment – to the fullest!
·
Say I love you
often. Same thing goes for giving hugs.
·
I have so very
much to be grateful for.
·
Your family are the people who love you no matter what.
·
Family can be
your greatest source of comfort and strength – if you let them.
·
Attitude is
everything.
·
Cherish your
friends. ALL OF THEM … Old friends know
your past and your secrets – they can show you how far you’ve come. New friends know where you are “right now”
and can share in your experiences (happy or sad) right along side you.
·
The best
marriages are divinely inspired.
·
I have the best
husband ever – PERIOD!
·
When it comes to
the best medical care – it really is who you know.
·
BE Grateful.
·
BE Kind.
·
BE Humble.
·
BE your best.
·
The families
living in Red Mill Run are awesome cooks … and just plain awesome
people!
·
I actually can
cook (I know this one is a shocker to many!).
·
The Cleveland
Clinic is not on the other side of the universe. And it is possible to get where you need to
go without getting lost.
·
A well-timed card
from a caring person can make all the difference in the world on a rough
day. (and I
have a basket full of therapy to prove it!)
·
“Chemo-Angels” is
a tremendous organization. I only wish I
had thought of it first.
·
My most important
job is being a mom and a wife.
·
The most
beautiful sounds in the world: a child’s laughter, windchimes
on a breezy day, your spouse saying I love you first thing in the morning.
·
Miracles can and
do happen.
