Problems with this page Readers using Internet Explorer will get messages saying "problems with this page..." and "done but with errors on page". There are no errors on this page, there are however, problems with the Yahoo/geocities server which hosts the page. These pages have been at geocities for some five years during which time most other web hosting services have gone out of business. For the benefit of continuity the site will remain at its present location. Purpose of the Page The primary purpose of these pages is to provide a permanent address, a current resume and an archive of my own academic published work. As Geocities is free this page can, hopefully, be maintained indefinitely and will always contain a current postal address or other means of contact. My academic interests are in the area of philosophy and information systems. Most of my academic work has been concerned with the philosophical aspects of information systems and with Soft System Methodology. The page will not only provide the full texts of my own work on these subjects but also links to other work in the area and relevant current events.
