7-ton 4-wheel Class A Climax C/N 148, built in 1896 or 1897. Painted yellow with bright red lettering and trim, this was the first of two locomotives to bear the name "Gold Bug" and use this paint scheme. This Climax was built for T. D. Collins and used on his operations in the Tionesta Valley in Northern Pennsylvania. Photograph taken at the Climax plant in Corry, Pennsylvania.
