For the in-class essay, you will be expected to develop a fully-developed, well-supported argument regarding the novel. You will introduce a clear thesis and support that thesis with evidence (quotes, paraphrases, summaries) from the novel itself, complete with proper parenthetical citation.
You will need your Frankenstein book, paper and pens. You may also bring a dictionary, grammar book and/or thesaurus with you.
