William Shakespear has a variety of themes he uses when compoing works. These include: comedy, history, tragedy, and poetry. Some of his most famous plays are themed as tragedies, such as: Hamlet, Julius Caesar, MacBeth, and Romeo and Juliet.
   
Romeo and Juliet is an immensely popular play be Shakespeare. It is romantic yet depressing. There are two main characters, Romeo and Juliet, and many sub characters. It takes place in Renaissance Itlay. This play involves people's relationships with one another and how important they are to them.
    Although most of Shakespear's best-known plays are tragedies, he also put a lot of work into about seventeen comedies, ten history oriented plays, and five poems.
