The year is 3014 and I am one of the last known oracles on this planet. I have seen more things than the human eye should ever see. This is my last entry I shall make before I part from this earth-bound body, and be rid of this vile planet. As you can tell, the past millennium has not been kind to me, or any of the people of this planet. Perhaps I should start from the beginning…
In the year 2000, the earth was in the biggest industrial revolution ever known to us ancient historians. The smell of prosperity became ever more fragrant as fellow humans of high business helped out the homeless to make their lives better. Domestic issues and international problems were the only things that the earth ever had to worry about. This was part in due to a young girl named Usagi, or better known as Sailor Moon. Along with her companions, the sailor scouts, she was able to keep evil at bay for eight long and trivial years.
Unfortunately, it was in her last battle with the Shogun Yoiyami that she failed to defeat him and ended up losing her life. But something was different this time, and that was the fact that there was no Black Cauldron to be reborn from. This came about in a previous battle with Sailor Galaxia, who had fused with the Cauldron, and was defeated by Sailor Moon. In result, the Black Cauldron was destroyed forever, leaving Sailor Moon unable to be reborn. This left the earth vulnerable to an onslaught by Shogun Yoiyami and his evil army, lead by the seven Lords and Ladies of Doom.
The earth quickly succumbed to the forces of Yoiyami and a shadow was cast over the planet and its solar system. Making it impossible for outer sailor soldiers to try and save the planet. For the next 1,000 years, Yoiyami destroyed and brainwashed anything and anyone that might attempt to remember Sailor Moon. After a while, most humans forgot about her and soon the entire planet lost all hope of rescue.
But there is still a chance for the earth to be saved. For I have foreseen the rising of the phoenix from the ashes. It will be of a young star in the midst of a black sea of hopelessness, who will bring peace and prosperity back to this land. She shall be the defender of love and justice. She shall be… the new Sailor Moon!
