I Need Time

Everyone needs time.
Time to think, time to listen, time to breathe…
Time to love.
The fear of time is what keeps me unhappy,
Knowing that time could disintegrate love and drive it
But further away.


Time for love.
The love that I will always have and will only grow
Stronger.
That love is greater than anything and in time…
That will be revealed to the world.


Time will unmask my love completely and I will no
Longer need time.
For time will only make me fretful of what may never
Be with too much time.
Too much time is never good.


The fear of loving someone and of being loved will only
Grow to heights that can never be reached.
But in time, my love, you will see that no one can love you
More than me.
