| John died on July 16, 1999 with his wife, Carolyn and her sister, Lauren Bessette. The whole world mourned when he died. We were shocked when he heard that he was missing in plane crash. I remember how shocked, numbed and depressed I was when I heard this news. I asked my coworkers for truth, and they all said it was true that he was missing and might be dead. I did not know the news until July 18, 1999. I learned of the news from looking at the newspaper at the newspaper box. I remember how shocked I was that I wanted to run very hard. I am leaving this page to encourage people to write my guest book and share their thoughts, feelings, memories and ideas. They could leave poems or short stories in it too.
