| John married his girlfriend, Carolyn Bessette, in September 21, 1996 in a small church off Georgian Island. He was very happy and excited that day, and so was his new wife, Carolyn. They went to honeymoon in Eastern European countries, and was photographed by tabloid magazines kissing Carolyn's hand in Turkey. They settled down in a loft in Manhattan area and lived a good life together. Carolyn quit her job as a publicist executive for Calvin Klein due to privacy and security concerns. John continued publishing George magazine with Micheal Berman until they had a falling out sometime in 1997. There were rumors that Micheal and some staffs did not like seeing Carolyn helping John with his magazine. |
