June 9, 2001

During their White Rabbit concert, on Saturday, Silo was forced to play as a trio.  Their guitar player and close friend Charles, never showed up.  Their lead singer Vince, was forced to pull double duty, singing and playing the guitar parts simultaneouly.  Long misunderstandings have taken place for months, but with no way to get in touch with Charles, it wasn't until after the show, that the rumors of him quitting were made true.  It was also rumored that he believed the remaining members of Silo had tried to replace him.  But that simply was not true, and was proven Saturday night when Silo was forced to play without a forth member.  Now Silo will have to find a replacement for the upcoming shows.         Charles is now playing bass for another group, and will truly be missed by the members of Silo, and all that follow their music.  Good luck, Charles, in all that you do!

August 13, 2001

Bad experiences from the beginning to the final day of recording, prompted the Silo to postpone the completion of their album.  Mainly due to unforseen "recording mechanical failure" and differences in opinions between the band, and the recording producer.  Recording shall resume once the band takes their work to another studio.

Website, once again, is undergoing major re-construction.

October 30, 2001

The third concert, with Jason on guitar, took place on Saturday, October 27th @ the White Rabbit.  The show had a very good turn out, and was one of the best performances the band has ever had!  The band and audience all agreed that it was an overall great show!          The first full length demo single has been placed in the multimedia section of this website!  It is one of the recordings from the first studio, and is not that great, but It is a perfect demo for people who have not heard of Silo, to hear how they sound.  Other singles from that album many be placed on that page very soon too.         The band now has solid plans to enter their studio in the up-coming weeks.  Now that the band has hit full stride again, thay shall re-record the album, and possibly add new tracks!         New photos from the past two shows will now be placed on the website for viewing, and a page for Jason (guitarist) will now be added.         Printable fliers will now be available through this website, most will be coupons to receive a $1.00 off @ the door!
