All the following are really cool programs that I have found. They are here because I found them useful and safe to use. They are also all very small (some just a few hundred kilobytes). They are all free to use! (Mostly only for home users. Read the license agreement carefully to be sure!)
If there are any programs that you think I should add to or remove from this list, please just e-mail me. I was going to rate each program, but then I realized that that is subjective anyway, and I can't decide how useful you will find the program. Please tell me what you think of the programs, so that I can take notes of any bugs etc that might help me. I also like to know what you find useful.

Kazaa contains spyware and therefore is not very good for your computer. Get Kazaa Lite and keep the program without the spyware. Kazaa Lite is a file sharing program that enables you to tap into the global resource of files out on the Internet. Millions of users are constantly online sharing their files and you can join them.
NB: Ensure you know whether or not the file you are downloading is legal before you download it. If you still insist on downloading illegal (pirated) files, make sure you are well aware of the consequences and legal implications if you are caught!

A superb program for automating tasks that you do repeatedly, creating shortcut keys for actions in programs and doing anything that your imagination can think of!

Ever needed to keep a window open, but it keeps on losing focus to another window and disappearing? Maybe if you're trying to type something and you need to keep a reference on another window, but you don't feel like making your primary window smaller. Well, this program will "nail" any window so that it will "stay on top" of all other windows. I have this little program on a "quick launch" icon for easy access when I need it!

This neat little program can increase your mouse resolution. What that means is that your mouse will move smoother, both in Windows and in games. This program is one of the few privileged to start up with my Windows. It will make your mouse smoother in games too. There are no side effects whatsoever, and it may save you upgrading to an optical mouse!

Despite its suspicious-sounding name, this program doesn't have much to do with hacking. It allows you to open up EXEs, DLLs and other file types to look inside them and see how they work. You can then re-assemble the program if you decide to modify anything (e.g. the icon, dialog boxes etc). I highly recommend this program to the curious computer user.

Keep in touch with friends and relatives with this messaging program. Chat rooms are integrated into the program. Not very stable and often buggy, but still worth having.
Remember: Check that your computer is compatible before installing!
