Witch; 17-years old; founder kid; best friends with Isabel Guerin and Tess Harding; lives with her mother and newly found orphaned cousin Leigha; nemesis is Michael Guerin who she is avoiding because of new confusing feelings concerning him; also hiding from Alexander Whitman who badgers her about singing; is a cheerleader with Tess and Isabel and is also the Dance Team captain
Pam Troy, Courtney Boyd, and Lauren Boyd:
Humans; Pam=17, Courtney=17, Lauren=14; the three of them hate the girls of the Royals (even the junior members, ie Jessie Whitman) and strive to make life hell for them all; Pam and Courtney cheer with Isabel, Maria and Tess; Pam sets her sights on Kyle when she first meets him; Courtney just wants one person – Michael Guerin – and will stop at nothing to get him; Lauren has decided that she wants Ryan Guerin (Michael and Isabel’s 13-year old brother)

Witch; 14-years old; identical twin is Trenton; does not like Lauren Boyd but is too polite to tell her to leave him alone; known as one of the town delinquents only because of his brother; is the quieter, more reserved of the two; feels very protective for some reason of the shy Leigha Deluca
Leigha Deluca:
Witch; 13-years old; orphaned cousin to Maria; moved to Willow Oaks only two weeks previously; parents died mysteriously; very smart, skipped 8th grade completely; is extremely shy even though she wasn’t always; feels an instant kinship with the outgoing Jessie Whitman; is thinking about auditioning for the Dance Team; formed an instant crush on Ryan Guerin
Jessie Whitman:
Witch; 14-years old; Alexander’s little sister; very much a tomboy – much like a younger Maria Deluca; plays volleyball, basketball and is the catcher on the boys baseball team; has a crush on Trenton Guerin (Ryan’s twin); finds her best friend in little Leigha Deluca the first time she meets her; is already considered a “Royal” at the high school even as a freshman
Trenton Guerin;
Witch; 14-years old; Ryan’s identical twin brother; nemesis is Jessie Whitman; known as the town delinquent already; always gets Ryan in trouble too; worships Michael and wants everyone to fear him too (most already do); has a major crush on Maria Deluca who he thinks of as a goddess
Doug Sohn and Grant Sorenson:
Humans; 18-years old; football stars; Sohn was semi-dating Maria Deluca and now won’t leave her alone; Sorenson won’t take no for an answer from Isabel Guerin; Michael wants both dead and Alexander wants to help; both hate Kyle Valenti on sight (who decides that the feeling is mutual)
