A couple of weeks later Liz and Michael just got back from patrolling and were making out in Liz's bed. Maria came over to talk to Liz about her dilemma with Ethan. She likes him but still has feelings for Michael. When she opened the door she saw Michael and Liz making out. Maria: What the hell is going on?! Liz: Maria! Michael: Maria it's not what it looks like. Maria: It looks like you were just making out with my best friend! Michael: Maria calm down. Maria: Calm down! Don't  tell me to f*cking  calm down! I can't believe this sh*t. Liz: Maria would you calm down and let us explain. Maria: Liz, I can't believe this. You're my best friend and knowing everything Michael and I've been through you go behind my back and date him. Liz: Maria I.... Maria: Save it Liz, Just save it. Maria then storms out of Liz's room and slams the door. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Max is walking Aisha to her door after their date. Aisha: I had a great time tonight. Max: So did I. Max and Aisha start kissing for a while and then she pulls away. Aisha: Do you wanna come in? Max: I'd love to. They walk into the manor and find Maria and Angela in the parlor room with and Maria is crying. Aisha: Maria what's wrong? Maria: My best friend just betrayed me. Aisha: What are you talking about? Maria: I caught Liz and Michael making out. Aisha: What?! Maria: I can't believe she did this to me. Angela: Maria it will be ok you and Liz will get through this. Maria: I don't think so. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next day at school in Government the teacher is pairing students in groups of two for group reports. Ms. Walker: Maria DeLuca and Liz Parker. Maria and Liz glanced at each other. Maria: Um Ms. Walker can I change partners? Ms, Walker: And why do you want to change partners Miss DeLuca if I may ask? Maria: I would just like a different partner that's all. Ms. Walker: Well until you can give me a better reason you and Miss Parker will be working together, is that ok with you? Maria: Yes, Ms. Walker. Ms. Walker: Henry Watson and......... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After school in the parking lot Michael and Liz are walking to Michael's bike. Michael: So you and Maria have to work together on this group project. Liz: Yeah, and she's still mad at me, I don't know what I'm going to do. Michael: Why don't you just ask to switch partners. Liz: Maria already tried that and Ms. Walker wouldn't let her. Michael: I wish I could help you. Liz: I wish you could too. Michael: So are you going to Wesley's to train today? Liz: Yeah, but could you drop me off home first I have to grab some stuff. Michael: Sure. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael pulls up on his bike with Liz at the front of the Crashdown. Liz: Wait here, I'll only be a minute. Michael: Ok. Liz got off of Michael's bike and went inside the Crashdown. On her way to the back she ran into Max. Max: Liz. Liz: Max. Max: I heard about you and Michael, dating. Liz: Look Max if you're going to yell at me for betraying you and Maria I ....... Max: No, that's not what I was going to say. Liz: Oh, what were you going to say? Max: That even though I don't like the idea of you and Michael together, if he makes you happy then I'm happy for you. Liz: Oh, Thank you Max. Max: I'll see you later ok. Liz: Ok. Max left the Crashdown and Liz went upstairs and grabbed the things she needed and headed back downstairs and walked over to Michael. Michael: Hey, I saw you talking to Max was he upset? Liz: No actually he told me as long as you make me happy he's happy for me. Michael: Well he took it a lot better than Maria. Liz: Yeah he did, let's go. Michael: Ok. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At Wesley's Liz is in the training room sparing with Angel and Michael and Amanda are watching. Angela then walks in with Cordelia. Cordelia: Angel you have a phone call. Angela: Ok, Liz I'll be right back. Angel then left to answer the phone. Liz: Michael wanna spar with me until Angel gets back? Michael: No, thanks I'm still sore from the last time? Amanda: I'll spar with you. Liz: Have you spared before? Angela: Both of my sisters and I have black belts in karate, but out of all three of us Amanda's the  best. Amanda: Come on Liz. Liz: Ok let's go. Amanda and Liz stood across from each other preparing themselves for battle in the classic stance. Amanda lunges at Liz and Liz flips over her head and landed behind her and Amanda turned around and Liz dropped kick her and Amanda fell to the floor and quickly jumped to her feet. Liz swung at Amanda, and Amanda blocks it. Amanda did a 180 degree kick on Liz sending her flying to the floor. Liz jumps to her feet then lunges at Amanda, Amanda jumps up and levitates over Liz and kicks her in the back causing Liz to fall to the floor and Amanda Lands on her feet. Liz gets up and runs over to Amanda and Did a 180 degree kick on her and Amanda Blocks it, Liz then drops to the floor and did a sweep kick on Amanda causing her to fall to the floor, and Liz pretended to stake her. Liz: Wow you're really good. Amanda: Thanks, you're pretty good yourself. Gunn Then walks in with Fred. Fred: Um Liz you had a phone call from Maria, she said she's been waiting over an hour for you. Liz: Oh, I have to go catch you guys later. Amanda: See ya. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A group of vampires are in some sort of lair talking about the slayer. Rick: So, how are we gonna kill the slayer? Lance: I have a plan. Kim: Well what is it? Lance: We kidnap one of her friends and tell her to come here alone to get her friend back, and when she comes we kill her and her friend. Eddie: So when do we kidnap her friend? Lance: Tonight. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Liz and Maria are over  Maria's house in the living room finishing up the first half of they're group report. Liz: Well we're done with that half, we'll finish the other half tomorrow. Maria: Fine. Liz: Look Maria I know you're mad at me, but I want us to be friends again. Maria: Look I don't think I can forgive you for what you did Liz, let alone be friends with you. Liz: Maria we've been through too much for  our friendship to end like this, I mean we're practically sisters. Maria: Do best friends date each others ex-boyfriends, Liz you we're my best  and you knew how I felt about  Michael and you went out with him anyway. Liz: Maria you're the one who broke up with Michael he was going to move on sooner or later. Maria: I can't believe you think this is no big deal, how would you feel if I started dating Max. Liz: ...................... Maria: You wouldn't like it would you, you know what I think you should leave. Liz: Maria. Maria: Leave! Liz: Fine. Liz then left Maria's house and slammed the door when she left. Maria then heard a noise outside and went to go see what it was and when she got outside two large vampires grabbed her and left. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While Amanda is driving home she sees a guy on the side of the road next to a car and it looks like he's having trouble. She decides to pull over and help him. Amanda: Do you need any help? Man: Yeah actually, my car needs a jump. Amanda: I have some jumper cables I can give your car a jump. Man: Thanks a lot. Amanda: By the way my name's Amanda. Man: I'm Chris. Amanda: Nice to meet you Chris, I'll just go get the jumper cables.  Amanda walks to the trunk of her car and opens it. As she is looking for the jumper cables Chris is walking up behind her with a sharp knife. Amanda finds the jumper cables and as soon as she turns around Chris is there with his hands behind his back. Amanda: (Gasp) Oh you scared me, here are the jumper cables. Chris: Great let's get started, but first I have something for you. Amanda: What? Chris: It's nothing, just this. He shows her the knife and she begins to panic. Amanda: What do you want? Chris: Nothing much, just your powers witch. Chris lunges at her, then Amanda levitates and kicks him and he falls to the ground and she lands on her feet. He gets up and she drop kicks him knocking him out. She then gets into her car and drives off and picks up her cell phone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the Johnson manor Angela is on the phone with her professor. Angela: But Professor Walsh I need an extension on that paper. Professor Walsh: I'm sorry Miss Johnson the deadline was today. Angela: But if I don't get the extension I'll get an F on the assignment and it's 10% of the quarter grade. Professor Walsh: All the other students made the deadline so I see no reason why you couldn't have. Angela was flipping through the Book of Shadows and stops at a spell to promote compromise. Angela: You know what Professor Walsh. Professor Walsh: What Miss Johnson. Angela: The words will travel through the mind,             Of stubborn parties and unbind              The thought to rigid to be kind,             A compromise they'll disentwine. Professor Walsh: You know what Miss Johnson how does a three day extension sound? Angela: That sounds great thank you. Professor Walsh: You're welcome. Angela then hangs up the phone and it begins to ring and she answers it. Angela: Hello? Amanda: Angela it's me Amanda look in The BOS for a warlock named Chris or Christopher and get Aisha we may need the power of three. Angela: What happened? Did you have a premonition? Amanda: I was attacked, I''l be home in about 30 minutes. Angela: Ok. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amanda walks into the manor and find her sisters in the living room. Amanda: Did you guys find a spell.
