Michael opened his eyes, he blinked trying to focus his eyes. He felt someone take hold of his hand, his eyes focused on Isabel. "Thank god your awake." Michael looked at her. "What happened?" "You don't remember?" "I remember being shot and....Tess. Tess was there." "I know, she and Kyle brought you here. They saw you leave and followed you, just as well don't you think?" "I guess." "So how are you feeling?" Michael moved his shoulder, it felt fine to him. He put his hand to his face, it was no longer cut. Isabel put her hand over his. "Max healed you, Michael I can't believe you put yourself in danger like that, we're a team we have to stick together for Maria's sake." Michael got up from the bed, he cursed himself. He almost forgot about Maria, how the hell could he forget about her? "Where are the others?" "In the other room." Michael left with Isabel close behind him. When the door opened everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Michael. Tess went to him, she hugged him quickly. Michael looked over her shoulder to Kyle. "Thanks." Kyle nodded, he looked embarrassed. He shrugged his shoulders and nodded. Michael went over to Jim. "Tess and Kyle, that's what you weren't telling me wasn't it?" "Yes and I wanted to contact my friend in the police for some information on Craig." "Did you call him." "I did." "So did he come up with anything?" "Five years ago Craig took a bullet for Caldwell, he's been his right hand man ever since. Caldwell trusts him completely. That makes me wonder why he should go against Caldwell now. It doesn't make any sense." "Nor me, and Tess? Why bring her into this?" "I thought you could do with her help, actually she already has helped." "Meaning with me?" "How else do you think you got up here without anyone noticing you? You were covered in blood when you came back." "I guess her mind control would come in handy." Jim put his hand on Michael's shoulder. "So we're okay now?" "Yeah. We're okay. So have you come up with anything yet on how to get her away from here?"
