Step 2: 

E-mail deleated without seeing the attachment, all this occurred in Cybeteria.  

Possible step 3: 

Change the extention .lnk to .txt or add .txt but do not activate the virus. 
This is best done in DOS or by the help of a batch file. 

Glance over the virus using Norton Commander or Volkov Commander. 
Small viruses can be looked through in Notepad, up to 39kB. 
Another chance is to use simple editors like WordPad or older Write. 
Macro viruses can be activated in editors using macros.
