| INTRODUCTION I went to Hungary from 17th to 25th in May,2003.It was my 16th travelling. I didn't think about visiting there at first.Nobady around me to travel in Hungary.Many people asked me the reason why I decided to go there though,I don't remember exactry.Maybe just a first impression was good. There are lots of green,Wine teste very very nice,Foods were wonderful and people were kind!I want to go back to Hungary soon! |

| LEFT This is "Raday.street".There are many nice restrants the both of sides.But guidebook in Japan doesn't introduce any restrants around here.And you can walk to the central marcket,it takes about 10 minutes from here. RIGHT You can see the bridge over there is the most popular bridge in Budapest,"Chain Bridge".It's so beautiful especially night! |

RIGHT Thw owner couple owns wine seller too. And he is grandpa,loves these rose wine very much!He sang old Hungarian love song for me.It was nice and beautiful afternoon... |
| Accommondations I stayed at youth hostel near Astria station in Budapest at first night.Each rooms has bathroom and individual locker,the price include breakfast.Many young people come together especially weekend.Next day,I moved to another accommo,is calld private room.It's one of the popular accommondations in Central & Eastern Europe.They rent a small room behind the kitchen to visiters for 4000-5000HUF a night.I could experience to see real Hungarian life! Cities I went to not only Budapest,also Western Hungary.Firstly,I wanted to find and drink nice Hungarian wines,so I was thinking about traveling Eastern Hungary.Becouse I've heard the name of famouse Hungarian wine in Eastern region. But I was really ineterested in Sopron in Western,at the same time.Sopron is called Middle Old Town,it's beautiful and histrical city.Fortunaterly,I had found nice hotel in the guidebook..After I had decided to go to Sopron,I reserched about Western Hungary.Lucky for me,I could know they have really nice wine yard in Sopron area!! .I visited Szentendre,Gyor,Pannonhalma,Sopron,Szombathely,Koszeg and small town whish is the owner couple of the private room's hometown. Language They say Hungarian is one of the most difficult languages in the world(I think Japanese too).I tried to study some words or phrases before I had left.Buti t was really really difficult!!!not easy to imagine what people said.So I almost spoke English and jesture everywhere :) Anyway,thank you for reading and seeing this page!Koszonom! |
