As most of us have remembrance ceremonies of some kind for our honored veterans, I would like to present a young man who fought in the first world war. In the UK We have our poppy day on Sunday and Saturday night. There is a big concert in The Royal Albert Hall to remember our people who died trying to keep us free. At the end of the service poppies come down from the ceiling and it is a very moving sight. On Sunday morning there would be a march past at the cenotaph (this is in the road between 10 Downing Street and The Houses of Parliament) and the Royal Family including the Queen and her family will lay wreaths. There will be ambassadors from all over the world also laying wreaths and the soldiers will march past.

This man, I want to honor did not actually die in the war although he has passed on but fought all through the first world war. This picture was taken when he was 16 years old.

I am proud to present my late father

Mr. Frederick Thomas Beauchamp,

Who I love and miss dearly.
