Two years ago I was lucky eneough to spend a weekend with Moira, Eric and her two brother in laws when they came down to London and we had a great time. Moiras brother in laws (Luke and Andy) live in Scotland and Moira and Eric were visiting from Melbourne. Well I sure got a lot of exercise that weekend. I am a Londoner born and bred but Luke and Andy know London better than I do. We walked all around the West End of London. and I swear I lost about a stone (I wish lol) We also went to the Theatre to see "Les Miserables and went up the river on a boat. We were also brave eneough to go to Earls court to eat when England and Australia were playing cricket. For those who don't know London, lot's of Australians live in Earls Court and England appeared to be losing that day. Fortunately we won and got back the ashes from Australia. Not for long though lol However the following year I was invited to spend two weeks in Scotland and off I went. For the first few days we stayed in a farm in Ayreshire and had a great time. Patrick was born while we were there and we only missed watching the birth by a few minutes. Patrick was a beautiful foal !!!!!! Abit cheeky but absolutely gorgeous. I think he was named Patrick after Eric. No I'm not losing it that is one of Erics names lol. We spent the last few days of my visit in a beautiful cottage in Kilbarchan which is in Renfrewshire. While I was in Scotland we went all over and I soon discovered that Scotland is a very beautiful country with lots of hills, mountains and Lochs. And the place is steeped in history. Unfortunately some of the battles were fought between the Scots and the English and the royals in England did some terrible things to the Scottish people. One of the most beautiful places I saw is called Glen Coe where there are beautiful mountains and was a famous battle ground from years ago. Many were slaughtered there. This is Moiras favourite place in Scotland. We also went to Peebles which is in the borders. This is where Moira was born and has a castle there and a lovely river.

After two weeks I had to leave and was quite sad really because I knew Moira and Eric would be off back to Melbourne in a few weeks time. So now we talk to each other online. I feel very blessed to have spent time with Moira and her family. Moira is a very kind and caring lady who loves all kinds of life.and is fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She hates any form of abuse to children as well as animals. And she absolutely adores birds.

Moira helps me a lot when I am trying to learn stuff in paint shop pro and has taught me so many things. When I first started to learn and was pulling my hair out and couldn't understand the tuttorials Moira was right there to help or sometimes we just worked it out together, Now I am totally addicted and it is something I enjoy very much and helps me unwind and relax.

I feel that we meet very few extra special people in our lives and I can truthfully say that Moira is definately a very special lady.
