Wow! What a week this has been. All the kids came in a few days before our anniversary party. They leave in a few days. I'm really not looking forward to the day they leave so I'll focus on the days they have been here.

The first surprise for Andrea was pretty fun. She didn't know her boyfriend, Mitch was coming out here. He flew into SeaTac in the morning. We made arrangements with the managers at the local Denny's ahead of time. We picked up the kids at the airport just before midnight. We drove to Denny's. All our family and a few friends were there waiting to surprise all the kids. The kids didn't know anyone would be there. So we were visiting and getting ready to order when our surprise went into action. Mitch walked out with a Denny's shirt and a dishpan. He walked up behind Andrea and was pretending to be bussing tables. She saw him and just sat there with her mouth open in shock. I'm not really sure what she was saying. It was way too funny. She knew this guy... but he was in the wrong state. It was a great surprise.
