-Updates- 2004/06/07 - I have redone my links page. Up until today, my links page was (and I didn't even notice) a page filled with mixed links about pet care; the left overs of a totally different web project. So, now I have a few banners up, as well as some links to unrelated sites that I frequent. If you would like to see your kennel, club, group, or site listed there, just contact me and I'll put it up (with a few exceptions - ie: inappropriate sites.) 2004/06/06 - After almost a year of being totally inactive, I have decided to come back, and start being involved in the Cyber Dog world again. It will probably take me a while to get properly organized, because alot of my files were deleted, and I haven't totally finished this layout. It is a little painstaking to go back to each page and change links/spelling and so forth. I will be trying to get some new litters up soon, as well as registering my dogs and creating pedigrees and such. If you tried to adopt a dog during my long absence, please request one again, and I will be happy to help you. It is easy to become confused when people start talking about cyber dogs. Here is a brief explanation, for a more in depth response, visit one of the Cyber Dog links on my Links page. Cyber dogs are "fake"" dogs, that are represented by drawings. (You don't have to be an artist though, just look at some of my dogs :P) Participants have their own "kennels", or websites, where they keep their dogs. In their kennels, they "breed" (or just draw up a litter of puppies) their dogs, and adopt them out to other kennels. Different groups and kennels have their own guidlines and rules, but the concept is the same. Many Cyber Dog owners, join clubs or associations (such as the ACDKC or American Cyber Dog Kennel Club.) These groups hold shows for purebreed dogs, have message boards where owners advertise their kennels and litters, and much more. **There is no money, and no REAL dogs involved in Cyber Dogs. So obey others' rules, respect their dogs and drawings, stay active, and have FuN!** |
