| Those who fell in love with Baily Quarters (Jan Smithers) on the late TV show WKRP know what this is all about! The quiet, reserved one in glasses who always has her act together even when everyone else is in chaos. The one with the brain! The glasses seam to be more like goggles, protecting her from the world. They may be quite light or with heavy lenses, but vision correction still seams like a secondary purpose. Guys go crazy over this!Why? For some guys it brings out the protective instinct, wanting to help shield her from the world, others can sense that hidden under glass is a very sweet person. Some guys just love a girl with a brain (a good thing!), and the fact that practicality wins out over vanity is a big indicator that there's one is in there! For still others, it is a bit of a cross-over from the second category, a Christmas Package. (See front page.) Of all the reasons guys like Girls With Glasses, this one is the most popular and well known, and in some sense, the most practical! After all, guys can have all sorts of feelings about the girls they dates once or twice, but if your going to spend your life with someone, a brain becomes far more important!
