�I can�t believe you did that Mel!� Jeni replied as they all sat down back in the beach house.
�He had no right to place his hands wherever he felt. Besides I gave him a warning, but he didn�t listen.� Melissa replied as she leaned back into the sofa.
�Where did you learn to do that?� Alyssa asked.
Melissa smiled to herself. �My dad. He thought it would be good for my sister and me to know how to defend ourselves. But there was one rule.�
�What was that?� AJ asked.
�We could never use it on him!� She grinned looking at AJ.
�Nicky better watch out if he makes you mad.� Melissa looked around the room, not seeing Nick anywhere.
�Where is Nick?�
�Mel, he�s down by the beach.� Julie stated looking out the window.
�I�ll be back.� She said and then got up and headed down to the beach. He stood facing the ocean and she could sense something was bothering him. His body was tense.
�Hey you, how come you�re out here all by yourself?�
�I needed to think.� He replied still staring at the ocean.
�What did you need to think about?�
�Mel please, not now.�
�Nick, what�s going on with you?� He couldn�t hold in his anger anymore.
�What the hell were you thinking?� He said finally facing her.
�What are you talking about?�
�You could have gotten hurt!�
�Is this about what happened at the club?�
�What you did Mel, was so stupid!� Melissa couldn�t believe what she was hearing.
�That jerk had his hands all over me! I wasn�t going to take it. I can�t believe you�re mad because I defended myself.�
�No, I�m mad at the way you did it. That guy could have hurt you, if I didn�t show up.�
�So, what am I suppose to do Nick? Never leave the house unless you�re with me?�
�I�m not saying that, I�m just saying next time walk away.� Melissa stepped back and looked away from him.

�I can�t believe what you are telling me. You want me to let some stranger touch me and not do a damn thing? I didn�t do anything wrong.�
�That�s not the point! You should have let me handled it.� He stated with an elevated tone.
�I get it now; this is all about your pride! You didn�t get ride in and save the day.�
�Damn it Mel, that�s hasn�t nothing to do with it!�
�What�s with all the yelling?� Jonathon asked as he appeared on the beach. �We can hear you from the beach house.� No one answered his question, so he continued. �Who�s going to tell me what�s going on?�
�Ask Nick, I�m going for a walk.� Melissa said and then walked off in the opposite direction.
�Damn it!� Nick yelled.
�What�s going on with you and Mel?� Jonathon asked making Nick face him.
�I said something I shouldn�t have and now she pissed at me.�
�Give her some time, she�ll calm down.� Nick nodded and followed Jonathon back to the beach house.
�Where�s Mel?� Julie asked as they entered the house.
�She went for a walk on the beach.� Jonathon replied.
�What did you say to her?� Julie questioned Nick.
