�I can�t believe we are finally here.� Melissa said as she walked out of the airport into the warm Florida sun.
�I can�t believe you got up before Jonathon and me.� Julie said standing next to her.
�You would be anxious too, if you haven�t seen your boyfriend in five months.�
�Okay you too, how are we getting to the beach house?� Jonathon asked looking at them.
�Nick said he would send a car for us.�
Just then a middle age gentleman greeted them.
�Ms. Barnes?�
Melissa turned to look at him. �Mr. Carter sent me to bring you back to the house. Please follow me.� They followed him out of the airport to the parking lot. He stopped in front of a black Tahoe. �I�ll take your luggage, please have a seat in the car.�
Once everyone was in the car, the driver introduced himself. �Now that we are away from wandering eyes, my name is Joseph Fieldstone, but everyone calls me Joe.�
�Well, it nice to meet you Joe, my name is Melissa. This is Jules and Jonathon.�
�Nice to meet you Joe.� Jonathon and Julie said.
�Same here.� Joe carefully pulled out of the airport parking lot and got onto the main road.
�I heard so much about you Melissa.� Joe stated making eye contact with her through his rearview mirror.
�Oh really, now I�m worried.�
�No need, it has been all good. Mr. Carter has really fallen for you. I haven�t seen him this happy in a long time.�
�Well thank you Joe, he makes me happy too.�
�I know Mr. Carter will be so happy to have you here.�
The rest of the drive the four of them talked about Joe�s job and family. They found out that he had worked for the guys for a couple of years now. And he considered the guys apart of his family. However, he did have a family of his own. He was married and had a little girl. After what seemed like forever, they finally arrived. The beach houses were two stories with antique touches to them. They laid right on the edge of the beach with stairs that led down to the beach.
�Wow, this is amazing!� Julie said as she exited the car. Melissa followed her and took in the scenery. She was speechless, she had seen pictures from the brochure, but they paled in comparison to the actual view.
�I�ll take your luggage in.� Joe said grabbing their luggage and entering one of the beach houses.
�Thank you Joe.� Melissa replied. Julie grabbed Melissa�s arm, as they stared out at the ocean.
�This is going to a wonderful vacation.� Melissa smiled at her and then turned to find Jonathon.
�Jules, we�ve lost Jonathon.�
�What he was just here a minute ago!� They spotted him down on the beach. They laughed as they watched him run in and out of the water. �I�ll get him before he hurt himself.� She stated as she walked down the steps to the beach.
She watched as Jonathon tried to splash Julie. Just then Melissa heard a noise and turned to towards the beach house. Nick walked over to her and enveloped her in his arms.
�Angel.� He said breathlessly. Melissa closed her eyes, feeling so safe in his arms. He broke their embrace and kissed her intensely.
�Let her breathe Nick!� AJ stated causing them to laugh. They pulled apart, but Nick�s arm remained around her waist.
�Hi AJ.� Melissa replied.
�Hey Mel, give me a hug!� He said wrapping his arms around her. �It�s good to see you. How are your parents doing?�
�It�s good to see you too and they are doing well.�
�MEL!� Jeni yelled coming out of the house. They hugged and then Jeni replied, �I�m so glad you are here, Nick has been no fun.�
Melissa looked over at Nick. �Aww, honey did you miss me?�
Nick smiled at her and then kissed her cheek. �More than you will ever know.�
�Mel, where�s Jules and Jonathon?� AJ asked as he held Jeni�s hand.
�They are down by the beach.� She stated as they watched the couple by the ocean.
�Mel, you�re here!� Howie said as he, Alyssa, and Joe exited the house. Melissa greeted them as Joe walked over to Nick.
�She�s amazing Nick.� Joe whispered to him.
Nick smiled as Melissa and Alyssa hugged. �Yes, she is.�
�I finally convinced him to come back!� Julie said smiling as everyone looked at a soaked Jonathon.
�Jules what did you do to him?� Melissa laughed.
�He wouldn�t listen to me and then he tried to get me wet, so I got even!� Everyone laughed.
�Ha, ha! I need to change my clothes.� Jonathon replied.
�Come on, I�ll show you where you�ll be staying.� Nick stated as he grabbed Melissa�s hand and entered the beach house.
