Melissa showered and changed before she headed downstairs to find Nick. When she had woken up, he wasn�t there. As she descended the stairs, she heard Nick talking to someone.
�Mel, great you�re up. I like to introduce you to Darrell.� Nick stated.
�Nice to meet you Darrell.� She said shaking his hand.
�Nice to meet you too Ms. Barnes.�
�Please call me Mel.� Darrell smiled at the young woman. She was just like Nick described her. Beautiful, intelligent, and caring.
�Darrell is going to be your bodyguard. I told him everything about Adam, so he knows what to look for.�
�He won�t be able to come anywhere near you.� Darrell stated to her. Melissa looked at Darrell. He was a big and tall man and she did feel better to know someone was watching over her. However, something still told her that no one would stop Adam from coming after her.
�I don�t think this is such a good idea guys.� Melissa said to all the girls. The girls decided to go shopping for the day to get Melissa�s mind off of Adam.
�Mel, you can�t let Adam control your life. Besides Darrell is here with us, so Adam would be stupid to try anything.� Jeni stated as they entered a store.
�How about we not talk about Adam for the rest of the day? He has done enough; let�s not give him anymore power.� Julie replied.
Everyone agreed not to mention him for the rest of the day.
He watched her from a distance as she and the others entered a store. He spotted the man that followed behind them. Adam watched as the large man looked around and then glanced at Melissa.
�A bodyguard, too bad that won�t stop me.� Then an idea came to him. He grabbed his cell phone and quickly dialed.
�I hope the girls are enjoying themselves.� Jonathon said as he, Nick, AJ, and Howie watched TV.
�If I know Jeni, she already put a huge dent in her credit card.� AJ replied taking a sip of his soda.
�Okay, I have spent way too much money and we have only been to two stores.� Jeni stated as they exited the store.
�You only have yourself to blame. Where to next girls?� Alyssa asked.
�I don�t know, where do you want to go Mel?� Julie asked turning to look at her friend.
�What? I�m sorry Jules; I didn�t hear what you said.�
�Mel, are you okay?� Jeni questioned her.
�I�m sorry guys, my mind keeps wandering.�
�And I bet I know what you are thinking about!� Julie stated.
�Mel, don�t let him ruin your vacation. You know what we all need?� Everyone looked at Julie, waiting for her response. �We need to have fun, I say we have a girls� night!�
�Yeah, we should!� Alyssa replied. �I haven�t done that in a long time. We could rent movies and have a slumber party.�
�Sound good to me!� Jeni stated. �Mel?�
�Sure why not.�
�Okay we will stay in our beach house and move the guys to yours.� Julie told Alyssa.
�Okay, but we need to stop and get some stuff. We need movies and junk food to make it a real girls� night.� Jeni replied as they entered the movie rental store.
�How could he miss that pass?� Jonathon yelled aloud. The guys were watching football and their team was losing.
�It�s just depressing watching this! Let�s watch something else.� AJ stated entering the kitchen.
�There is still a chance that they could come back.� Nick replied.
�Nick, they are down by 20 points and it�s the fourth quarter. The game is over!�
Knock�knock.
�I�ll get it.� Jonathon said as he headed to the door.
�Hello, I have a package for a Nick Carter.� The young man stated, holding a package and a clipboard.
�Nick, come here. You have a package that you need to sign for.� Nick walked over to the door.
�Right here sir.� He handed the clipboard to Nick and he signed it. �Here you go. Have a nice day.� He replied and left.
�What is it?� Jonathon asked shutting the door and following Nick to the living room.
�I don�t know, there�s no return address. I guess the only way to find out is to open it.� He opened the package and inside was a video tape.
AJ took the tape, placed it the VCR, and press play. The guys sat down and watched as an image appeared on the TV.

�How about Pepto-Bismol?� Melissa said looking at all the junk food.
�Come on Mel, we need junk food. Besides I know you can�t turn these down!� Julie replied holding chocolate chip cookies in her hand.
Melissa grabbed the carton and placed it in the cart. �What else did you need?� Julie smiled at her and handed her the list.
�Where is this?� Jonathon asked as the video showed many people walking around and some sitting talking.
�It�s the mall. Nick what is this?� AJ asked confused.
�I don�t know AJ.� They continued watching the video, when it focused on one person.
