�Now, it�s my turn!� Brian stated before anyone could take a sip of their beverage. �Nick, you have been my brother for twelve years. I have watched you grow up and turn into a strong and intelligent man. However, you haven�t always used your head.� Laughter erupted in the room.
�Thanks Brian!� Nick smiled at him.
�But you were using your head when you found Mel. I think from the moment you met her that you knew you wanted to be with her. I�m glad to say I got to see that friendship grow into something more. Just like Jules said earlier, Nick, Mel has brought out a different side of you. You have become more open and more relaxed. I believe Mel is the reason for that. You couldn�t have found a more astonishing woman to be your wife.� Brian looked over at Melissa and smiled.
�Mel, you know I have come to think of you as my little sister. I want exactly what a big brother wants for his little sister. Nothing but the best and you have found that in Nick. When I came to see you in Illinois, I didn�t really know how deep your love was for Nick. But from the moment I looked into your eyes, I could see the devotion you have for Nick and I could see you missed him just as much as he missed you. I knew then that I had to get you two back together. You were stubborn, just like Nick.� A smile came to Melissa�s face.
�But in the end, you proved me right. You and Nick are meant to be. And also just like Jules said. On behalf of the Backstreet�s family, welcome to our family. Cheers!�
�Cheers!� Everybody stated and then took a sip of their drink.
Melissa gave Brian a hugged and said, �Thank you Brian.�
�Anytime sis.� He gave her a goofy grin. Once they pulled apart, Melissa returned to Nick�s side. He wiped away the tears that had falling after Brian�s speech.
�There are those tears again!�
�I can�t help it, everything�s so perfect.� She replied pulling him in for a hug. Nick kissed the top of her head.
�I would like to make a toast to the couple!� A voice said from the back of the room.
