"Okay, now you can tell me what"s going on!" Melissa said as her and Nick were in the car, driving.
"Honey, nothing"s going on." Nick said placing his hand on her leg.
"Nick come on! Everyone"s acting very strange, especially Jules."
"I agree with you on that, Jules is acting weird, but I don"t know why."
"Nick."
"Mel." He said and smiled at her. She just laughed.
"Alright, I"ll let it go for now, but you will tell me."
"By the end of the night, you will know everything."

"What do you need help with Jules?" Brian asked.
"I want to throw Mel and Nick an engagement party and since you"re Nick"s best friend, I thought you would want to help."
"Yeah, definitely. I think we should all help." Brian stated as he motioned everyone to join the conservation.
"Good, I need some help because I don"t have an idea where we can have it!"
"How about the Water Front restaurant? It has an amazing view and we know the owner, so it won"t be a problem to get a room booked." AJ replied.
"Good idea AJ, that way we can have some privacy too." Brian added.
"So how soon can you get a room for the party?" Julie asked sitting down on the sofa.
"I"ll call right now and find out." AJ grabbed the cordless phone and dialed the restaurant.
"What about decorations and food?" Jeni questioned as she sat in AJ"s spot.
"Well the restaurant can do that too, we just need to let them know."
"We can have a room tomorrow if we want it!" AJ called from the other room.
"That would be perfect, they wouldn"t have any idea what"s happening!"
"Book it AJ and tell them we will call with ideas about food and decorations in an hour." Brian replied.
"It"s done; we just need to call back as soon as we know what kind of food we want."
"Well then let"s get to work!" Jonathon said as everyone gathered to discuss the engagement party.

"Why am I wearing a blindfold?" Melissa asked as Nick guided her.
"Because it"s a surprise." He unlocked the door to the room and leaded her in and quietly shut the door. "Okay, now I can remove the blindfold."
Once the blindfold was removed, Melissa opened her eyes and looked at the room. "Oh my god, Nick I can"t believe you did this!" The room they were standing in was replica of the room they stayed in at the bed and breakfast in Illinois.
"How did you do this?" She asked as she walked around the room.
"I talked to manager; I can be very convincing when I want something." Melissa smiled at him.
"I can"t believe you remember so many details about that room." She stood by the bed, remembering what had happened in that room. Nick walked behind her and enveloped her in his arms.
"I will remember that night for the rest of my life. I told you that I loved you and""
Melissa turned in his arms. "I told you that I loved you."
"That was a perfect night, holding the woman I love in my arms, waking up with you next to me!"
Melissa captured his lips in a passionate kiss. "How about we recreate that night now?" She kissed him again as his arms wrapped tighter around her. Her hands ran up in his hair when he started kissing her neck. Suddenly Nick pulled away from her.
"Nick, what"s wrong?"
"As much as I want to and trust me I really want to, we have dinner reservations."
Melissa pulled him in for one more kiss. "I can"t change your mind?" She asked pressing her body against his.
Nick moaned feeling her so close to him, but he took a deep breath. "I"m sorry to say, no."
"Okay, I"ll go and change." Nick grabbed her arm and made her face him.
"You look perfect just the way you are." She smiled at him.
"I love you."
"I love you. And I will finish what you started." He said giving her the famous Carter grin. Melissa laughed as they left the room.
