The sun broke through the curtains and rested on Melissa"s face. Slowly she opened her eyes to see Nick"s looking down at her.
"Morning." She stated faintly.
"Morning Angel, how did you sleep?" He asked brushing a strand of hair out of her face.
"I slept amazingly knowing you were right here next to me." She pulled him down for a kiss. When they broke apart, Nick glanced at the necklace he had brought her while they were at that bed and breakfast.
"You still have this!" He said touching the opal necklace.
"Of course I do, you got it for me. I never take it off that way I always have a piece of you no matter where you are. It makes me feel closer to you." Nick smiled and then gave her a kiss.
"Hmmm"how much time do you think we have before the gang shows up?" She asked in between heated kisses.
"I think we have time." He smiled and then covered her body with his.
"Hey lovebirds get dress and come downstairs!" Julie yelled.
Nick let out a frustrated moan, causing Melissa to laugh. "Coming Jules!" Melissa grabbed some clothes and entered the bathroom. Everything that happened last night, kept replaying in his mind. Melissa"s confession, dancing in the glow of the candles, making love. He never felt this happy in his life and she was responsible for it all. He was completely honest with her last night. He couldn"t picture his life without her in it. He wanted her in his life for ever. Just then he smiled to himself.
"Hey lazy, get out of bed!" She said sitting next to him on the bed.
"I"ll be down in minute. I want to take a shower." He replied finally sitting up.
"Okay, see you downstairs." She kissed him and then left the room. Nick got out of bed, grabbed his cell, and then entered the bathroom. He turned on the shower, so no one could hear him.
"Hey it"s me, I need to see you."

"Well there"s one of the love birds, where"s Nick?" AJ asked as Melissa came down the stairs.
"He"s taking a shower. I want to thank all of you for helping Nick with his plan."
"No thanks needed Mel; we would do it again in a heartbeat." Jeni stated sitting down on AJ"s lap.
"Yeah especially since all you did was shop!" Alyssa pointed out as she sat next to Howie.
"You didn"t come home empty handed, now did you?"
"Corners ladies!" AJ replied causing everyone to laugh. Melissa sat next to Jonathon and he placed his arm around her, giving her a playfully squeeze.
"So what did you guys do last night?"
"We played poker and your boy here kicked our butts!" AJ said gesturing to Jonathon. Melissa and Jonathon started to laughing, causing everyone to wonder why.
"What"s so funny?" Howie asked.
"Oh, I"m sorry, it"s just, I was thinking about how Jonathon learned to play poker." Melissa answered.
"And how did he learn?" Jeni asked. Melissa looked at Jonathon; he shook his head telling her no.
"I"m sorry Jonathon, but it should come out." She grinned at him.
"Mel, don"t I"ll make you regret it!" He said laughing.
"Tell us Mel!" Alyssa stated.
"Our moms taught us!" She blurted out before Jonathon could stop her.
"What? You told us that you were a natural!" Howie said.
"A natural, I think our moms would be hurt!" Melissa stated smiling.
"You are so died!" Jonathon replied, tickling her.
"Hey Jonathon, keep your hands to yourself!" Nick said smiling as he came down the stairs.
"Finally Nick, I was wondering if Mel wore you out!" Jeni said with a smirk.
"Funny Jeni, you should talk!" Nick stated taking a seat next to Melissa.
"Okay you two! How about some breakfast?" Melissa asked entering the kitchen.
Everyone gathered in the kitchen and helped fix breakfast. Once breakfast was prepared, everybody took their food outside onto the deck and ate.
"So what is the plan for today?" Julie asked.
"Well after all that shopping yesterday, how about just laying on the beach?" Alyssa asked everybody.
"Sound good to me!" Julie replied as she grabbed her plate.
"Leave it for me guys, I"ll pick up." Melissa stated to them.
"Thanks Mel!" Howie said as he grabbed Alyssa"s hand leading her to the other beach house. Everyone left to get ready for the beach, leaving Melissa and Nick alone. Nick helped her carry in the dishes and then placed them in the sink. Nick watched her as she washed the dishes and then put them away.
"Earth to Nick!"
"I"m sorry, I was just thinking."
"Well, don"t hurt yourself!" She grinned.
"Funny Angel, I have some errands I need to run, I"ll be back in a couple of hours." He said grabbing his keys.
"Okay, be careful." She stated putting the last plate away.
"You aren"t going to ask me where I"m going." He asked surprised.
"No, why would I?"
"I don"t know, I guess I"m use to getting the third degree when I was with Becky. I always had to tell her where I was going, who I was going to meet, when I would be back."
"Well, I"ll never ask you that. I trust you." Nick wrapped his arms around her and tenderly kissed her.
"I love you."
"I love you too. Be careful!"
"I will, behave!"
She smiled at him. "I can"t make any guarantees!" Nick laughed at her comment and then left the beach house.
