June 20, 2004 ~ Are you a Garfield fan? I admit that I am. Ever since the Garfield plushie was created to stick inside your car window, I've been collecting anything with the pizza-loving orange tabby. Now Garfield has been made into a movie and Camryn Manheim who played Snow White on The 10th Kingdom and her 3-year-old son Milo was spotted outside the Los Angeles premiere showing of the 20th Century Fox movie on June 6th.

Warwick Davis (Acorn the Dwarf) will soon be playing the smallest secret agent in the movie Agent One Half. It is a comedy spy spoof written and produced by Warwick himself and is set to be released sometime in 2004. In an interview with CS.Com, this is what Warwick had to say about his new film:

I'm developing a film called 'Agent 1-Half', of course starring me, it's a comedy about a government agency that consists entirely of short people doing undercover spy, James Bond, type work. The basis is that these are the guys behind James Bond but are the ones you never see, leaving people like Bond to take all the credit despite the fact that we do all the work. It's going very well in development at the moment, a lot of interest from big studios and fingers crossed it will become a movie event for next year.

April 9, 2004 ~ John Larroquette is one of many celebrities who volunteered to serve meals to the homeless for the Easter holiday. Here is an excerpt from an article describing the event:

More than a dozen celebrities helped serve meals to the needy at the Los Angeles Mission on Skid Row at one of many Good Friday events in Los Angeles County.

John Larroquette of "Happy Family" said he came because when celebrities are involved in an event, it gets more news coverage.

"A face like mine that's slightly recognizable comes down here to help -- that means the news media comes. That means the place gets coverage. That means more people get to know about the mission and it's mission," he said in a broadcast report.
