Rules:
*With the exception of fanfic, everything must be rated PG-13 or under. Song spoofs and other submissions shouldn't get extreme with profanity or sexual themes. I accept suggestive and erotic fanart, but all necessary body parts must be covered (i.e., Han and Leia in bed together is fine, but only so long as blankets or limbs cover their parts normally hidden by swimsuits). In the case of fanfic, I'm more leanient, since sometimes mature themes are necessary for fanfic plots. So I'll accept R-rated fanfics, but not NC-17s. I rate everything according to my own judgement, so that's what I'll judge your fic by.
*Fanart must be sent as an attachment in JPG format.
*If you have a video you'd like to share, it MUST be hosted by YouTube or some other site - I don't have the bandwith necessary to host videos here. Send me the link to your vid and I'll link to it from here.
*Please check your spelling, grammar, and formatting BEFORE you send me something. I don't have time to edit all my submissions, so they will be posted EXACTLY as they are recieved. I strongly urge you to correct all spelling and grammar errors because failure to do so might result in your fic getting rejected. A few typos can be overlooked, but if the errors are so heavy that it makes the fic unreadable, the fic will not be posted. Also, fics and other stuff that consistently misspell the characters' names (for example "Princess Leah," Anikan Skywalker," "Hans Solo," etc.) will automatically be rejected. If you love Star Wars enough to write a fanfic, you should love it enough to know how to spell the characters' names.
*Please put "Star Wars fanart" or "Star Wars fanfic" or something of the like in the subject line so I don't mistake it for spam and delete it.
*Fanfics should show respect for the movies and characters. Alternate universe and humor fics are accepted, but not fics that throw in fifty random things that don't belong in the SW universe or fics dedicated to hating a movie character (now if you want to hate an EU character, that's another story...). I think you SW fans can make good judgement about what I mean.
*Songfics (fics that revolve around song lyrics) are not allowed for several reasons. For one thing, many songfics tend to rely on lyrics the author did not write to carry the meat of the story, which defeats the purpose of fanfic. Also, there is the legal issue. Using lyrics written by someone else without permission could lead to trouble, and better safe than sorry. Also, in most cases, the lyrics serve as a distraction that interrupts the flow of the story. If you have a songfic that you want to send me, take out the lyrics. You'll likely find that the story works better without them.
