Who are we?: Eric and Tami are both currently Ph.D. students. We met while serving as Peace Corps Volunteers in Africa.    What we are up to: Taking care of our new BABY! Hunter  was born in 2007. He is ADORABLE (although we may be a bit biased). We are about to head up to our field station for the summer. I'm sure Hunter will be a great field assistant. Want to see more pictures? Past Travels

We caught the travel bug while in Peace Corps and during our time in Africa traveled to Kenya, Tanzania (Eric), Egypt (Tami), Israel (Eric), Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa, and Madagascar. As seasonal field biologists we would use our free winters to travel (1999-2005) 3 months in Costa Rica and Panama Polar bears in Churchill, Manitoba. 3 months in Thailand Honeymoon! 5 months in Australia. Drove up through B.C. to Alaska. Salmon fishing and  backpacking in Denali National Park.  Ski bums for  the winter and a short trip to Puerto Vallarta. Short trip to Belize over winter break. now: Travels on hold until a certain baby boy gets bigger.

Hobbies

We both enjoy birding, herping, hiking, backcountry camping, reading, and scuba diving. Tami likes to snowboard and knit (as of 01/20/06). Eric likes to ski and read comic books :)

Finally, the elusive Marbled Salamder!  Pretty....
