The Library Leaders are the rockingest, hardest drinking, most information literate softball team in the McGill Staff Softball League at McGill University.

2005 Season
The 2005 season is off to an amazing start - viz our 33-4 win over Chaotic last week!

Hi All,
Wow, what an amazing game. Offense was off the charts with 33 runs scored.
I believe that equals ALL the points totaled from last year. And the home runs were, well, out of here. 5 for Albano, 3 for Brian, 1 for Gordie and a Grand Slam home run for Steve. Of course you now realize that I will be expecting this every game.
Defense was also amazing, everyone played a controlled game and there was no throwing the ball around needlessly. The reward for that being that we kept them to 4 runs.
All around a great game. I would though like to see more people out after the games for beer, hopefully with next weeks game on a Friday (May 27th) that will be possible.
Until then, have a great long weekend and we'll see you next week.

About the team
The Library Leaders have
been around since the beginning of time, or, more specifically, sometime circa 1971. The team has been,
is, and e'er will be mostly made up of people who work in McGill University
Libraries. We play in the coed McGill Staff Softball
League, and oscillate wildly between stunning wins and bitter defeat, reaching our apogee in 1994, when we won
the league championship.
Now that the 'Spos have left and gone away, follow our season next year, or even play.
