The Eternal Blue "movie" is called Banquet of Marionettes. One night, Kyoko has a dream. Someone pleads for her help. When she wakes up the next morning, she forgets all of it. People have been mysteriously disappearing in the night. No one knows how, why, or where they've gone. Strange featurless, wooden puppets have been turning up in their places. What does this mean? Suddenly red-haired puppets attack the city, turning the people into the small wooden dolls. Kyoko has another dream that night. It's the same dream as before, only this time she can see who wants her help. A pale girl with white hair, red eyes, and iridescent butterfly wings. She calls herself The Butterfly Princess, and she claims to be imprisoned by the one who controls the Marionettes. She tells Kyoko if she's not freed, the world will become a puppet to the darkness. Kyoko is distressed the next morning because she has forgotten the dream again, and she was almost sure it was important. On her way home from school that day, she is stopped suddenly by an organ song that is hauntingly familier to her. She looks around to see where it's coming from. The sound emits from a large, dark, and apparently abandoned monistary on the side of the road. She wonders how many times she had passed it and not even noticed it was there. Upon entering the cathedral, Kyoko walks through the dark rows of pews until she lays eyes on the person who is playing the music..... Part one: Festival of Puppets |
