Project Stages

Stage	Description
Invitation to tender	Potential client invites contractors to tender.
Estimate	Contractor estimates costs and what to deliver
Bid	Contractor prepares the bid document, i.e. specification of what to offer, when to deliver, costs, etc
Forecast	Senior Management forecasts the company's future. Perhaps you need to hire more staff if the bid is successful.
Project	If the client likes our bid the best, he will give us the contract and project.
