The George T. Carr Gymnasium was built in the Lebanon High School building when the
new High School building was first built in 1976. Carr, along with the Junior High
Field House, served as Lebanon High School Basketball's solitary home until the installation
of the state of the art Boswell Auditorium in 1994. During that time, the George T. Carr
Gym has seen Lebanon's biggest triumphs and also many disheartening moments, as
well. Despite the inception of Boswell Auditorium, Carr Gym has by no means gone into
disuse. Carr Gym is still actively used for:
Physical Education Classes
J.V. and Girls Basketball Games
Wrestling Tournaments
Basketball, Track, and Wrestling Practice
School Assemblies
Community Programs
Career Fairs
and Numerous Other Activities.
