September 23rd update

September 23rd update ( pictures added Sept. 27th):

I'm sitting at the stables watching Kim's Saturday horseback riding lesson. The girls have been back in school for almost a month, Laurie just started her final few months of her MBA program today, and we have no new pictures to share. :-(

I'm the assistant coach for Kim's soccer team (we're won two games and lost one), but today's game was rained out. We did get to watch the US Men play the Japanese men in the quarter finals (final-US beat Japan in sudden death to advance to the semifinals!). We've all been watching "All the Olympics - All the time", or as much as we can watch around homework and work.

Today's the 100th homecoming at New Trier High School! Sarah is going to the homecoming dance with some of her girl friends. Here she is ready to go out with her friends!

(Sarah kept the pictures from the dance and won't give me copies to scan! Send her an e-mail to ask if she had fun!) Here's what the Wilmette Life (our local paper) ran for homecoming:

'MOO TRIER' New Trier grad Nicole Gordon helped create "Moo Trier," a fiberglass cow decorated with New Trier scenes. The cow will debut in the homecoming parade in Winnetka Saturday.

All ready for the big dance!
I had a business trip to Denver last week, and managed to spend some time with my brother and my father. Here's a picture of my neice & nephew with their new dog, "Gunner". Hello, Gunner!

Please check back soon for more news & (hopefully) more pictures! Adios,

-Larry
