I introduced my nephew, John, to model rockets while visiting my brother and his family in August 1999. John and I built an Estes Bandit, and it flew GREAT!! One of the launches on a C6-5 went almost a thousand feet high, then drifted at least half a mile uphill! After the Bandit, John bought a ready-to-fly Estes "MoonDog" rocket with his own money at Wal-Mart. We flew that a few times, too. I think he's hooked!
