COMPETITION RULES:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
  1. Competition governed by rules of SOBHD.
  2. Classes will be split according to age after receipt of all entries. Competition committee reserves the right to combine, split or delete classes at close of entries.
  3. It is the parent's/guardian's responsibility to ensure the competitor is entered in the correct class. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
  4. Competitors age to be taken as of May 9, 2009.
  5. Decision of the judge is final. No persons other than the Competition Committee shall communicate with a judge concerning an event, competitor, or the results of any competitor. Any complaint must be made in writing and accompanied by a $20 fee.
  6. Competitors must be registered with Scot Dance Canada and must present registration card to pick up number and for awards to be received. $5 penalty for no card or invalid card.
  7. Late entries will be accepted until May 1, 2009, with double entry fee per dancer.
  8. Please notify Karen Olsen (403) 328-9934 by May 3, 2009 of pre-premier status change. No changes will be accepted at the competition.
  9. NO REFUNDS FOR ENTRY FEES
  10. Competitors must be suitably attired. Last to enter first to dance. Dancers must be on hand to dance when event is called or forfeit their right to dance.
  11. Perpetual trophies are property of LHDA and must be returned prior to competition. Winner is responsible for name engraving.
  12. Any cheque returned for any reason is subject to $25 service charge..
