VIGNATI FAMILY IN BRAZIL |
Carlo Vignati and Alesandrina Cavestri, with their sons Carlo and Enrico Vignati left Robecco Sul Naviglio in 1892 going to Brazil. Upon arrival their last name was recorded as Vignatti, as the descendants of this family are now known in Brazil. Upon arrival in Rio Grande they headed to Bento Gonçalves, establishing themselves at the Linha Leopoldina where they bought a parcel from the governement.

Also in Bento Gonçalves, but in the Linha Barão de Capanema, established another Vignati: Sebastiano he bought the parcel number 16, with 17,8 hectares, for the price of 3 mil réis per square fathom, he finished paying in 1895.
